Who We Are
We are practitioners from diverse spiritual, creative, and contemplative backgrounds who guide meditation and mindfulness-based practices for individuals, families, educators, and communities.
Our work supports a deepening awareness of our capacity to live with presence, joy, and integrity—rooted in what matters most in our individual lives and in the shared fields of relationship and interconnection.

Sunstory builds sangha as a living container for devotion, consistency, teaching, and witnessing. Our approach to inner peace is grounded in structured contemplative practice, drawing from the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, devoted concentrations on the Brahmaviharas, and immersive engagement with nature as a primordial reservoir of wisdom and intelligence.

Walking meditation, mindful movement, music, and sonic landscapes support an embodied and creative awareness of perception. Through intentional and emergent practice, we awaken insight, resilience, and the capacity to heal and thrive through life’s challenges—nourishing
peace from the inside out.

Khahtee V. Turner is the founder, resident teacher, writer, and creative director of Sunstory. Her work weaves contemplative practice, creative consciousness, and devotion to peace through nature-based meditation,
movement, and reflective inquiry.

Sunstory emerges from her lived practice and ongoing study, and is held as a field of shared inquiry. It is one that welcomes collaboration with other certified and ordained meditation teachers, and, educators, artists, and spiritual practitioners whose work aligns with its contemplative and ethical foundations.
